Put one foot in front of the other…

…and soon you’ll be walking cross the floor. This may as well be Brayden’s theme song for the week because only six days after taking his first step he’s already up to a whooping 14 steps in a row!

The big 14-step trek happened at Aunty Jaclyn and Uncle Jason’s baby shower on Saturday. But here’s a picture from Tuesday and a video from Friday that shows some of his progress.

What’s really cute is that first he gets all excited (because we’re cheering) and then he gets all shy and crawls over to one of us to bury his face. Brayden’s not a walker yet, per se, but he is getting better and better by the day, and has also learned how to stand up by himself without needing something to hold on to.

It’s actually been a pretty eventful weekend. Brayden took his first drink from a glass at the baby shower after he decided to commandeer one of his teacher’s cups of water.



Beyond that, the week was filled with the usual giggles and thrills…



…wet and wild fun,
